What would people never guess you do in your role?

They would be surprised by all of the different hats I wear in my role. My job title does not explain all the things I do every day.

What advice would you give a candidate wanting to join our team?

Try to fit in with the team and help them as much as possible because that’s what they need the most. Own your projects and be there to help with whatever is needed.

What is your favorite thing to do in Houston?

Astros games are fun. One of my favorite restaurants is Superica in the Heights. I like the Chile Relleno.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a fighter pilot. I got very close to becoming one. I was in the Navy and served on two aircraft carriers, the U.S.S Constellation and U.S.S Nimitz.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I used to work for Jiffy Lube and I became the fifth best manager in the entire United States. I was rewarded with a trip to Cancún and other prizes.
